I was hoping for something a little bit more advanced, because it spent a lot of time covering things that most people with construction experience will already know. Nonetheless, this book offers some good information and a solid foundation for beginners. Also, I was hoping for some topics on estimating field work, but this book really focused al. A Must Have For Any Steel Fabricator! For a longtime this book was needed by the steel fabrication industry! Written so anyone can understand, it is perfect for both entry level and the experienced "Old Hand". I haven't found another book that comes close to this one in breaking down all aspects (e.g. estimating, detailing, project management and more) of steel fabrication. As an owner of a steel fabrication shop, it is my recommendation that this book be in the reference library
