I'm sure numerous of the spaces highlighted within have appeared in various magazines over the years but this is one to keep and go back to on occasion. There were several rooms that inspired me and caused envy - not a common sense for me. I really wanted to be in these happy, serene, creative spaces. I wanted the leisure time and the money to spend on rooms like this within which to putter, read, watch the sunset and garden cha. writing because I know I'd love this as much as when I bought it probably 8 or more years ago. "the garden room" is a most exquisite book that reflects in a light and elegant manner the spirit of a true garden lover and most educated man .the quality of the text,the combination of photographs and watercolours make a lovely book full of references to great gardeners and artists. It is a most enjoyable book much worth any selected private library .
