Excellent textile reference, photo reproduction OK for that time We've had this book for years, but I hadn't looked at it for awhile. This time I was struck by two things1.) Color reproduction is just OK, and not that much color. OK, the book was published in 1987, so what do you expect. The text is still good, and scholarship moves pretty slowly re these artefacts, or so I believe.2.) The condition and workmanship of the textiles il. Textile pics galore A Customer This is a great book for general information concerning precolumbian peruvian textiles. Includes information about history, ideologies, and religion. Excellent. Gary E Dunham said F Anton has created a great book for people interested in the textile arts of Pre-Columbian South America. Fabulous book. None better. This is one I will take along when I going to be stranded on that desert Isle
