DESCRIPTION:
"Hope" by William Neale is warm and friendly - wonderful addition to the Home Series Hope a complex novel, with unexpected twists and realistic conflicts in the leading characters. As with all the Home Series, William was an amazing author - generous and kind to his characters, and readers, without being sappy. Perhaps Hope is so excellent because it typifies what William seemed to believe: that anything was possible and love could come to anyone. He seemed to find possibility in every situation, turning trauma into opportunity in every story. I particularly enjoy his concept of familiarity and family within the gay community, something I have witnessed many ti. Van said A Wonderful End to the Home Series. I can only echo most of what Elisa said in the earlier review. I have read all of William Neale's books and am saddened to know there will be no more. It would have been especially nice to hear the rest of Thomas' story, obviously much we don't know. May God bless William, Marty, and all their family and friends.. Chris said What a great read. Loved this book. It pulls at the heartstrings. I had trouble in the beginning with all the different characters who were introduced, but I finally got it. Wonderful story line, different from many other MM books. Definitely worth a read. Sad to know that the author is no longer with us.
