NHRA Winternationals Book L. Stahl I was very happy that I ordered this book.It is a very detailed publication outlining everything regarding the Winternationals. I was fortunate to be present at the 50th Anniversary Winternationals in Pomona,California and was glad I did not miss it.I brought along the book and had some of the past drag racing driversautograph it.Some of the drivers that autographed the book were TV Tommy Ivo, Joe Amato,"Big Daddy" Don Garlits, Joe Mondello, Tom McEwen "The Moongoose",Roland Leong "The Hawaiian", Bill "Grumpy"Jenkins.If you love the sport of drag racing you will cherish this book.It is definitely a walk down drag racing. it's just ok i grew up in the 60s and 70s with the great "hot rod" magazine pictorials so i guess and i was expecting more. "all good things gotta come to a end" jackson browne. "Overpriced" according to Alfred E. Garren. For a "history" of the race it lacks detail and I was disappointed that Amaazon's price was more than they sold for at the event. NHRA and Amazon team up for a double rip, save your money.
