Love it Great for school and designers. Great starter swatch kit with samples of all of the most used fabric and fibers.Worth the investment.. Just what I needed when I needed it I am taking a correspondence sewing and design course, and one of the units dealt with fabric types. I began to add up the time and money it would cost me to come up with all the swatches it was recommended that I collect, and quickly realized that life would be a lot easier if I could find something "pre-packaged." This swatch kit fit the bill nicely -- there are a few other fabrics that I still need to acquire, but this gave me a tremendous head start on the project. I am now considering the purchase of the text that goes with it just to have a more complete package to work with.. Comprehensive and offers a good learning foundation A comprehensive collection of fabric swatches and content description, with easy swatch compilation instructions and full kit of everything needed for assembly. While it does take some time to put tape each swatch to the ring binder pages using doublesided tape, and then label it using the online guide as a reference, I found it very helpful to the learning process to write down the content description by hand---as opposed to a readymade swatch guide that one would glance over and forget easily.
