"Red Dirt Heart-the Series" according to Sean Andrew McNamara. I realized while reading this exceptional series of NR Walker stories “ Red Dirt Heart “ that, after years of enjoying various genre and story avenues I made a conscious commitment to follow and finish an entire arc of stories. Now don’t get me wrong, you can read a bit, put it down and pick it up later type of story at any time. But Author Walker introduced me to a group of characters that I freely walked around with in a geographical area I had never imagined visiting and made me invest so w. "Unexpected Love" according to Angela. When I was little I was addicted to a cheesy sitcom set in an all girls' school called The Facts of Life. One season had the girls visiting Australia. "The Facts of Life Down Under" I think they called it. Because of that show I spent years believing the myth that in the Southern Hemisphere, water in a toilet swirls in the opposite direction as water in the Northern Hemisphere (I was like, seven, so cut me some slack). But it was also the first time I decided I absolutely had to visit Australia.Now, more years . Mrs Readsalot said Just realized I bought this book almost a year ago. Why'd it take me so long to finally read it?!. Really enjoyed the premise of the book as well as the characters. Charlie is the sweetest guy and hardworking. Feels doomed to a life of solitude and the lack of love. Travis is almost like a sweet rain shower to Charlie's desert. He's refreshing and delightful andTravis just feels 'right.'Sweetest moment of the book? Charlie and Travis visiting Charlie's dad. Very moving.I'm off to read the next in the series.
