Wonderful book, with a CD that allows you to print over 500 templates for creating boxes, many with unusual shapes for making gift boxes, display boxes, dispenser boxes, sectioned boxes. Can be used in creating craft items, but is also very useful for professional and/or commercial designs.. Not the best Beware - the CD only has jpg files, which makes it slightly more useful than scanning in the pages. Although I can convert these to vector format in Illustrtor, it's too much trouble. Any of the designs that are useful can be found in other books (many packaging template books have many identical templates and even use the same photos). There are far too many stands, easles and display items and too few actual "boxes". Each page of the book shows a template and a 2'x2" black & white photo of the completed item made with white cardstock. These pics are really too small to . Paper Girl said Lots of great ideas. With over 500 templates, there are plenty of ideas for packaging and gift giving. Having them on CD is great. The lack of assembly instructions doesn't bother me as I have lots of experience with similar templates. The one thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that some of templates don't work as is.
