Incredible Story and Superb Writing I am sad that this book had to end, as I felt like I found a friend in Christablel, Her story which began for me with her first book, THE PAST IS MYSELF, was eye opening. It shed a new perspective about how the German people lived during this horrific time. I am Jewish and have read one tragic story after another and this story was not about. Four Stars Great book my friend was there in Germany when his wife lived their with her two kids.
