"Sometimes fascinating, sometimes disappointing." according to Spirit of the GB. I LOVE the road rally world, so it was a no-brainer for me to buy this book used. It is ~200 pages, and the first 50 or so are just talking about how the two teammates met and who they were. When the author gets into the "meat of the hamburger", it it hit-or-miss with how the book is. There are portions that are extremely entertaining, where I see an e. Bill Black said It was a damned good time. and a damned good book. Books about high speed adventures in a Volvo are rare for obvious reasons. This one is just a fun read. Well written and well paced, the only thing it lacks is a British-to-American glossary to clarify a few coloquialisms. Worth the time to read.
