DESCRIPTION:

Good introduction but beware of typos. I'm only half through this book and have done all of the exercises in it so far. It covers most of what you need to know in order to get good at autocad. The author has good examples of how to use the functions and has written it in a clean style with plenty of illustrations. As I started doing some of the exercises I noticed that it had many typos and errors in it. This annoyed me a lot since I had wasted a lot of time doing an exercise and then finding out it turned out incorrect because there was an error in the book. And these errors come very often and will. AutoCAD beginners The book for the most part is pretty good with detailed examples. However, it lacks detailed information on certain techniques within AutoCAD. But overall its a good companion book for anyone starting out in learning AutoCAD
