"Book is good but not as in depth as I though it" according to Amazon Customer. Book is good but not as in depth as I though it would be. Maybe more information on how to make a better performing engine such as getting more power out of a car.. Francis A. Flores said Could use more pictures. It is a great overview of engines and their working parts. I had to supplement the book with pictures from the Internet and video simulations from YouTube to make sense of the topics, because the subject is abstract and makes it difficult if you can not see it. If the book have had more images my score would be 5 s. Into text for middle school readers J. Elliott This book is at best an introductory text for a high school student or lower. It is of no real use otherwise. I purchased the kindle version. Glad I don't have the book, it would be used book store or goodwill bait.
