At the risk of a pun, this volume is nothing short of delicious. It is the work of a major NYC columnist, and Village Voice writer from back in the days when the Village Voice was cultural mover and shaker. The writing is a sensual ode to Fernandez's Cuba. Not to be missed by anyone even vaguely interested in the island.
