"An Incredible Book of Intrigue, Suspense, Action, and Lesbian Romance!" according to HollyAnne Weaver. Having been in the military, I can certainly see where CPO Sydney Martin comes from when trying to balance duty and personal and family problems; I've been there, although not to her extent. I've also been in the situation where I told myself I just was *not* going to fall in love, but the heart wants what the heart wants. This story to me was very, very personal, and my first novel by Ms. Slaughter. I will say her attention to military detail w. "A good book." according to Amazon Customer. I thought that the book was well written and the characters well thought out. Yes, there were a lot of sex scenes, but in a new relationship there always is. I am glad that I didn't pay attention to the other reviews. Sounds like someone may have it out for the author. I hope that everyone reads this and makes up their own mind.. "Liked it but" according to Jane. I liked it but way too many typos and grammatical errors. I realize it was self published but get everyone you know to proofread. Also, I buy these books for the sex, but too much sex and not enough action. It was a great idea and I liked the characters.
