"Fine overview" according to Steve. Jacob Bronowski was a very engaging and accessible writer, so the best way to approach his work is by well, by reading the work. Once you've done so, however, reading The Happy Passion is a fine way to digest and think about Bronowski's ideas. The author's admiration for Bronowski infuses every page, but he isn't an unthinking acolyte, and The Happy Passion is a fine overview of Bronowski's work.. A little disappointed I purchased the book expecting a more complete biography. It is not that I don't appreciate his philosophy, his views as expressed in his books and television series changed my life. It ignited a life long interest in the history and nature of science. But I want to learn about him. I wish the book would have had more information regarding his life
