Look again and again *Anon* So many different type, eras etc. I pick this up when I'm trying to decide what colors will look well in own SW home. Gives ideas for bookcases, gardens, porches, etc. Fun fun book with awesome colors, accurate statements. All editions are great!. An unusually good house-style book: 4.4 stars Peter D. Tillman This is a better than average specimen of the ubiquitous "[Something] Style" house-porn books that litter the bookshelves. I look at a lot of these, and most can be summed up by "good photos; bad text". Or "decent photos; really dumb text".The book at hand starts with an intelligent and nicely-illustrated essay on the roots of Western style, by Elmo Baca. The following photo chapters are unusually good, and the text is at least not embarassing, and often pretty good. The photo captions are whe. "Five Stars" according to Amazon Customer. Very nice book.
