A Good History of Time Aware PhD Time Changes by Doris Doane is a really great resource for anyone interested in learning about the history of how daylight savings time came into existence and (esp. resourceful for students as well as practicing astrologers) who need to know where, if at all, daylight savings time was in effect for birth chart composition. As you begin to read, notice that daylight savings time is also known as DST for short and frequently referred to as War Time throughout the material.The author went through a great deal of research to compile this time-historical information and it certainly is very interesting to learn. Conversions, conversions, conversions If you are serious then get this book along with 'Time Changes in the World' and 'Time Changes in Canada and Mexico.' All three books are by Doris C. Doane. If you don't have these books then war time is a biatch and good luck! :D. A great sourcebook on Time Changes in the US Heather Elizabeth Erwin Adds a whole new dimension to tracking birthtimes in the now ubiquitously computerized programs used to create astrology charts.Great little book, very affordable.
