The photographs are beautiful and the narrative is interesting and informative. For a South Floridian or for a reader from elsewhere, it's a treat to get a peek behind the doors of these remarkable "cottages". Here in Miami, we tend to tear down our beautiful, old and even historic structures. One hopes Beth's book will help to preserve these Coconut Grove gems and others like them.. "Tropical Fun & History!" according to Denise C.. I own a variety of Cottage books, and live in SFL and I enjoyed escaping into the lush tropical surroundings of this village. Unlike other cottage books I own, it gives a bit of historic history to each home which is interesting and varied. Of course you get to see a variety of cottage styles from Pioneer to Mediterranean to modern and the quirky too!
