It provides not simply a detailed account of the acquisition and restoration of the Tom Mix Cord but a quite accurate and comprehensive biography of Tom Mix. There is also a well researched history of the Cord companies, many one of a kind photographs of Tom Mix, along with extensive photographs of memorabilia from the author's personal collection.
