Too poorly written Sorry, I could only make it through 17% of this book before giving up. The plot was almost interesting and the characters were almost likeable. But, the book was edited poorly or not at all. I find missing and repeated words - and sentences that make no sense because they were not proofed - to be very distractin. I really enjoyed this book, even if I guessed who the one behind everything was. Angel's introduction in the story was simply entrancing and it was my favorite scene in the book. Even though the rest of the book didn't have the same, for lack of a better word, smokey and enticing quality it was still well worth the read. Angel and the sexier than should be possible and completely devoted vam. Zort said Fun, quick read. The book is short (I read it in a couple hours), but it was fun and engaging. I liked the development of the romance (and I appreciated that the plot did not get interrupted by sex scenes constantly.) The characters and the world were interesting and well-written, and once I started reading I had to finish it to
