D. Johnson said Rookie Read-Simple Machines. This book is a great resource for students. The photographs make the subject more interesting and informative. The book would be even better if the size was larger.. Lydia Booklover said Simple Machines makes a start on pre-school understanding. My class seemed able to start to understand what a "simple machine" was, and it use in their every day life.
