Nice, but small I did not realize that this is a small book. its about 5 by 8 inches, but packs a lot of info. I got this for a reference. I don't think it is something to sit down and read,but good to look up locomotives from time to time, has pages and pages of locomotives- as advertised. Published in 1995, its not. execellent! A fine companion to the volume on the older Diesels. Lots of pictures, good information. Comprehensive and easy to read.. Very helpful Love to watch trains, have always wanted this book. I am looking back through my old photos to identify the engines.
