A perfect mix of historical narrative and great illustrations. I am an auto history enthusiast. But my knowledge of taxis was minimal. So I was looking for a book to give me a comprehensive overview of taxis from the beginning to modern times. This book is it. Lots of historical information on the vehicles and evolution of the industry, enhanced by many many fabulous pictures. Easy to read and printed on nice quality paper despite being softcover.
