-- Richard LaBonte, Book Marks. -- Bay Area ReporterKallmaker skillfully weaves a tale of longing, need, and desire, complete with mystery, good guys, bad guys and raw sexuality. -- Lambda Book ReportKarin Kallmaker's best and most engrossing books yet! -- Womyn's WordsShe's the lesbian hybrid of Joyce Carol Oates and Danielle Steele. "Substitute" may be the best Kallmaker I've read in a long time, and given her extraordinary talent, that's saying something

It has a more complexity in it's story line than most lesbian novels and holds your interest without fail. I can not overlook it's quantity either. How many times have you bought a
