Not a terrible read, but the author did sort of plod pjdelamar Not a terrible read, but the author did sort of plod along through the court terms. My biggest problem with the book was that I detected two significant factual errors I recognized as a casual reader. The first was that Murphy refers to Justice James Clark McReynolds as "William McReynolds." The second is that he refers to Charles Evans Hughes's vote as the one that changed the direction of the court in the mid-1930's when in fact it was Justice Owen Roberts whose "switch in time saved nine."One wonders how many other times the author missed the mark. It's hard to believe those are the only two.. The best scholar of all time! Without any doubt this man was one of the greatest minds ever to sit on the Supreme Court. I pray we can find more like him before the liberals completely destroy my beloved country.. Dpt said Five star. Great book about a great man. Couldn't put it down and if I did it came with me whereever I went until it was finished
