Ann Kiyoko Chung said poorly organized, defensively written. I bought this book based on the number of favorable reviews and was disappointed. Poehlmann's tone is defensive, and the book offers more rhetoric than useful information. This is a fine book for those who are already convinced of the mycoplasma theory and the effectiveness of antibiotic therapy, b. Fails to mention the other infection connection That infectious disease is the cause of rheumatoid arthritis and in fact many of the so-called autoimmune diseases has been postulated for over a century, but has never been accepted. If true, it means that the standard treatments for R.A. which are all based on suppression of the immune system mus. Evangelical and uncritical I was greatly disappointed by this treatment of a very interesting and worthwhile theory. There appeared to be no attempt at evaluation, at selecting points with stronger evidence versus those with weaker evidence - everything was hurled into the mix.
