Well written but not my favorite work by this writer Sirius Chris Quinton is one of my favorite writers in mm genre, I pretty much buy every new work by her these days. I really enjoy her writing - characters and settings are usually very vivid and I appreciate that her plots often go off the beaten path. Unfortunately, I am afraid that in this story her plot went too much off the beaten path for me to fully enjoy it. As you can see from the blurb, I am n. I thought the author's strongest qualities were excellent dialogue, overall great prose and strong characterization and setting. I felt the split between the past/dream events and present events made the plot move a little slowly.
