"thin book, in both senses of the word" according to vectorizer. This is a very small book with not a lot of unique or well-organized information. I was hoping for more details on learning techniques, but there's little info beyond what can be found in ARRL's flagship books, and on many ham web pages. I regret buying it.. A Good Read but Not Worth Original List Price. Michael Davis I've just completed reading this book. When it first came out I hesitated to purchase it because of one negative review. Since that time others have reviewed it favorably.I noted that the book was listed by the publisher for US$17.95. The book isn't worth that much. I recently purchased another ARRL book for that much that is worth far more. For this title I paid a little over $10 and I felt that I got my money's worth. A penny more would have been highway robbery. Most of the material in the book is readily available on the It's nice to be able to package it all in a book but it really isn't worth . "Little information for the price." according to B. Brindle. This is a very small book with very little unique information in it in my opinion. Being a CW Enthusiast and already knowing the code I picked this book up to add to my collection more than anything else. I had hoped it would have some interesting CW operating information in it and there were a few good sections. But I would not recommend this book for the beginner who is looking to learn Morse code. For that I would hit the internet and one of the many groups like Straight Key Century Club or FISTS for online information about learning.
