The book enhanced my visit to MOMA and heightening my interest in visiting the museum again and again and learning more about the artists and their work. It's the next best thing to being there.. Better As a Memory Than As an Introduction. This is a book for someone who has been to MOMA. It's not that this is a bad publication - it's not. But art is meant to be viewed in its setting and not on a piece of paper. It's meant to be seen from up close. From a few steps away. From somewhere in between. I was lucky enough to grow up in NYC and to have gone to MOMA on more than one occasion and while the crowds are usually horrific, I was still able to experience the art in the museum setting.
