This book is for anyone who needs inspiration to be better in every way. The book was easy to read and details the many heartbreaking challenges Kevin has while battling colon cancer. It sounds sad, but it is not. Each page makes you smile when you read all the good things that have come out of this terrible situation and how love can always see you through.. Love it This book is so interesting that I find myself reading it in the middle of the night! Can't put it down. The book makes me want to meet Kevin. He sounds like a wonderful man. Like so many people, I have had my share of knowing family and friends diagnosed with cancer. While I have glimpsed into their lives, I don’t think I ever completely understood the impact cancer has within the family dealing with it. "IT" is the kind of travelling companion that hogs the window seat, eats all the snacks, insists on multiple bathroom breaks and ultimately rewrites the direction and duration of the trip. For over five years, I have had a front row seat to my husband's journey with cancer. I blinked. While there may still be detours, we are strapped in for the long haul and the view of the endless towering trees is amazing. My vision took a turn through a tunnel and my hearing became muffled as if I was immersed under water. It helped us be "in the moment" at each stop and take back the driver's seat. In that moment my senses ceased to work the way they were intended.
