Professor Dr Christiaan Jorg is a former Curator and Head of Research of the Department of Oriental Export Art at the Groninger Museum, Groningen. His research focuses on Chinese and Japanese export art for the Dutch market for the period 1600-1800, in particular porcelain and lacquer." . He lectures on the East-West interactions in decorative art at Leiden University.
