DESCRIPTION:
Detailing the industry changes caused by the conversion from CFCs to non-ozone-depleting refrigerants and by the development of microprocessors and new secondary coolants, Industrial Refrigeration Handbook also examines multistage systems; compressors, evaporators, and condensers; piping, vessels, valves and refrigerant controls; liquid recirculation; refrigeration load calculations; refrigeration and freezing of food; and safety procedures. Offering a rare compilation of thermodynamic data on the
Industrial Refrigeration Handbook details the latest industry changes caused by the coversion from CFCs to non-ozone-depleting refrigerants and the development of microprocessors and new secondary coolants. From the Back Cover State-of-the-art information and data for today's most efficient industrial refrigeration systems. Refrigeration Load Calculations--Crucial to proper system design. Piping, Vessels, Valves and Refrigerant Controls--The 'glue' that connects the components. Drawing from the best of the widely dispersed literature in the field and the author's vast professional knowledge and experience, here is today's most exhaustive coverage of the fundamentals, design,
intended for the engineer not for the technician this book is for the engineer or highly technical reader it is not for the average hvac refrigeration technician it is very in depth but depends largely on graphs and charts and while it does benefit the in depth smart person it is not written for the blue colla. The book for all refrigeration system designers I have covered this book in length-no other book or handbook comes close in terms of simplicity of it's explaination. The latest ASHRAE Refrigeration Handbook is a good reference to have when using this book as there are cross references.Value for money and look. A Customer said Great info, but not for the average person. I enjoyed reading this book as a more intermediate industrial Mechanic, but for that price I expected a book with glossy pictures. I feel the book was over priced for a bunch of pages with drawings. Just a few black and white pics of equipment, and lots of compl
