The only reason for The Aristocrats The only reason for 3 stars is because of the sheer nerve it took to try and finally succeed in getting published. Other than that, it's pretty much gutter fodder. Is it shocking? Yes at first, but then the theme becomes tedious to get through. The protagonists are so far left field I got a crick my neck trying to follow them. I picked up Hogg out of curiosity, and maybe you will too. But, if you are familiar with the joke "The Aristocrats," you might want to reconsider out of the possibility of disappointment.. stars is because of the sheer nerve it took to try and finally succeed in getting published.
