Great new voice! Nathan Burgoine One of the best things about the Saints and Sinners Literary Festival is how I never fail to end up bumping into a new-to-me author and finding a book I adore. This year felt like an absolute trove. If I'm going to be on a panel with someone, I try to read something by them before I sit down. Since I got to be on a panel about Evil and the Supernatural with Christian Baines, Marie Castle, and Christopher Rice, I quite literally finished this book twenty minutes before I absolutely had to have breakfast before the day of . judy said great book I loved that it was not Goth and. great book I loved that it was not Goth and I can't wait for the next one the only thing that kinda bugged me was the internal dialogwhen something big was going on. also I get the feeling that det Sloan has more of history would like to know more about her.hopefully this next book will go into more detail about her.. Kept me reading and readingon the edge with wit, southern sarcasm and great characters!!! Lisa Holmes I loved this book! I have loaned it out and my friends loved it as well!!! Waiting for her next book with baited breath!
So powerful. Whenever the New Orleans Supernaturals’ Crime Unit calls for her help she’d like to tell them to go to Hellbut they’re already in that particularly unpleasant part of the netherworld. So immortal. Jacq. Cate Delacey is glad she’s a witchboth kinds. Then literally.Because that’s the day the Council’s detective Jacqueline Sloan slinks her way into Cate’s life. Opening the Darkmirror Agency was a great idea. Her clients are mostly human, and they pay for everything from bounty hunting to process serving. And up to her sexy neck in a secret that will unleash Hell’s Belle.Marie Castle’s unpredictable Darkmirror world is unveiled in this romantic, sizzling debut.. So alluring. Even a guardian has to pay her bills, and Cate has no intention of following in her mother’s footsteps as an enforcer for the Council of Supernatural Beings. But one day it all goes to Hell, figuratively. She could have done without the guardian bit that put a bull’s eye on her back. Being a guardian comes with so many risks and rules that immortality ought to be a fringe benefit
