As an owner of a small library of car books including Firebird ones, and an owner and 'Bird enthusiast, I can recommend this to anyone who is an enthusiast - for one, it is filled with new photos not printed in previous books on the Firebird.However, if you are looking for an authoritive resource on the Firebird, look elsewhere. Like many prior Firebird books, it has mistakes. Just thumbing through it since I haven't yet had time to read it cover to cover, revealed several errors. For instance, contrary to what the author says, the '91 Formula was NOT available as a convertible - nor did it offer the Aero Pac. Ok, but too short A nice entry in the musclecar color history series, but too few pages to cover this range of models over so many years. For example one book in this color history series covers Mustang over only just 1979 to 1998. There are better recent books on the Firebird, Trans Am that cover all the models.
