A good textbook for basic material science needs dave This was a required textbook for my Material Science class (Chemical Engineering Major) which is why I made the purchase.This book is very easy to read and has a lot of figures/graphs and pictures. The book overall is easy to follow and learn from but the problems are very easy for th. "Needs more content. Not suitable for college" according to Stealth. Its too easy even as an introduction. Feels like reading a story book (not novel) rather than textbook.. J.
