BMW 5-Series Service Manual Very Condensed version in comparison to the other service manual I have. I like the pictures and the step-by-step instructions. It's made more for amateur mechanics rather than "scholar" mechanics. It's always good to have a second service manual as a backup.. tom campbell said Haynes: good deal. Once again, Haynes comes through with a very useful book. While not as detailed or comprehensive as some more expensive manuals, it does a great job covering most issues at a very reasonable price. It was nice to discover upon delivery that it is hard-cover. Hurrah, Haynes.
