DESCRIPTION:
Builderofstuff said Bought the Kindle version. I bought this a good while ago and it's not going to tell you how to build a guitar if that's what you're after. If that's the case I would highly recommend that you get Martin Koch's book, but if you're interested in design this is a pretty decent read.. Well, we'll see. I bought this Kindle book because I didn't have access to borrow it wirelessly. The text is all one lump with no way to get to a specific chapter heading. The chapters have titles like "Pickups" so you can't search for the title without getting every time
Subjects include Concept creation, originality, planning, the reference library and notes, and why things are they way they are on guitars. There's also an introduction to Constraints and how they affect the guitar design process. It's a companion guide to the standard guitar building books and websites, written to aid students looking for help in completing their projects. Different body types, shaping, neck/body joints, hardware, and electronics choices are covered, too.. An introductory guide to Electric Guitar Design for new electric guitar designers and builders as well as the guitar enthusiast
