Whether you are a dedicated "student" of welding, or simply find yourself plagued with the genuine need to be more proficient, ARC WELDING, may be your ticket. The author has packed the book with dozens of simple but effective cutaway illustrations that demonstrate the essentials of the subject, including the difference between good welds and unacceptable welds. The author provides minimal text to accompany the visuals but does a decent job of explaining the logic of each subject. Good Purchase Amazon Customer This is an excellent book. I am still studying it for information. I am just reviving an old interest as a hobby. Years ago, in high school, I did a welding project. Now, I finally have a place of my own where I can try out some things. The only thing I wish the book had in it is more ideas for projects. It's not that I need ideas so much as the ensuing descriptions and instructions would give even more insight into methods.. David Braker said Great book!. My welding teacher helped write this book, so I had to try it out. The material is very informative, and gives a good perspective of welding practices.
