OMG! Unbelievably Beautiful! A++++++++ I borrowed this book from the library. This is definitely one of the best visual books I've ever seen about Chinese Artï¼Âï¼ Quite different from most other books, which focused on archaeological or aesthetical research, this book is pretty much like a handbook or notebook of an art dealer family, which describes the family's experience in art work collection and auction.
Elias writes what could be the plot of a compelling BBC miniseries .The intersection of power, money, and lust for possession overlaid with Eskenazi’s dealer’s eye for detail makes this a wonderful bookfascinating stories, perfect illustrations, and accessibility will allow readers to appreciate Chinese art at its best. (The Times (UK)) . (Country Life)The book is beautiful. (Library Journal)Not one to miss
