"Fascinating!" according to A.L. Whitaker. I cannot read enough about the Titanic. This gave specific examples of first hand accounts from first, second, and third class passengers as well as Titanic staff that survived. I was able to envision what it must have been like through the vivid descriptions given. It is also interesting how different and then how similar the stories are. I was shocked to read some of the accounts, but this was a different time and they just didn't have what we have today in building this!!! I am still so saddened so many people died because there were not enough lifeboats and the ones that they had were not filled to capacity!!! Such a tragic ending for some that could have been prevented!!!!
