Clear writing with good historic info. Loved that they gave places to see specific styles. Beautifully drawn renderings. Sure made me think more about improving any entrance I own or will own.. Necessary Reading for all House/Building Designers This book is a must read for anybody who is building or modifying a house. It shows in a very clear manner how doors reflect the character of the house. It is a well written technical book that on the subject that can also be easily undrstood by the average person.
