"Suitable only for a classroom; not for home study" according to ä ãÃÂ. This is a textbook for a classroom course and presents very incomplete information that must be augmented by an instructor. For instance, there is no discussion about partial panel operations. There is an over complete treatment of weather however. Buy the FAA Instrument Flying Handbook and the FAA Procedures Handbook instead, if you want to study at home.. "Great book in a great series" according to chaosweb.
