I hate it when female queer charachters are "punished" for their Too dark for my taste, I hate it when female queer charachters are "punished" for their queernes, i get it that the writer tried to portray things that probably happen in real life i just wasnt ready for all the violence. Going in, I was unsure of what to expect, but I was excited because, I mean, come on, it's Teresa. Her books are always amazing.Let's be honest, even in this day and age, sexual orientation is a huge debate. Those who do not follow the social "norm" are often considered outcasts by many. A lot of the time, they are treated differently or even verbally or physically attacked. The Good Girls shows all of the above in th. "Pleasantly Different!!!" according to Angel. I absolutely loved this book. The story, the characters all of it. It touches on a subject that a lot of people have a hard time with, not me of course like in the book love is love and who are we to judge.
