"Bravo, Gridley Girls" according to MYeates. I'm so happy with the ending of 'Gridley Girls'. This is much more than a girl coming of age type book. Themes of friendship, family ties, faith, love, trust, betrayal and humor weave a lovely story set in the 1970's small northern California town of Gridley. I must confess, the shy unpopular farm girl, part of me was not "loving" the pretty freshman cheerleader character, Meg, but the author totally brought that around for me after chapter 10, letting me appreciate a deeper understanding of the 1Bravo, Gridley Girls MYeates I'm so happy with the ending of 'Gridley Girls'.
