A compelling and pleasant "must read" Amazon Customer This is Frank DiPaola’s first book, and I hope, not the last. This guy can write. He tells his own story here, the New York kid becomes the tough, but soft hearted cop in L.A. Some of the diction , most of it in fact, is right out of who?…Damon Runyan, maybe. Colorful, fetching, not overdone.And think again if you believe that the autobiography of the middle . Inspiring I didn't purchase this on Amazon, it was given to me by a friend. Don't let the Religious context in the title scare you off. I am not a Religious person and I loved this book. I normally read novels but, I thought I would give this a shot.
