About the Author Andrea McNamara is a freelance textile designer with Printintin Design Studio, West Melbourne, Victoria. He taught at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, for four years and commenced full-time teaching in the Textile Design course at RMIT in 1988. She lectures part-time in the Textile Design course at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and her freelance work includes several commissions of banners and textile work.
