About the Author Andrea McNamara is a freelance textile designer with Printintin Design Studio, West Melbourne, Victoria. He taught at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, for four years and commenced full-time teaching in the Textile Design course at RMIT in 1988. She lectures part-time in the Textile Design course at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and her freelance work includes several commissions of banners and textile work. Patrick also designs textiles for Printintin and exhibits regularly
